I was privileged to attend the Jim Edwards “JimBoat3″ cruise to the West Indies in December. He had a very focused and complete course on developing and maintaining a membership site for people who came from around the world and who want to increase their income with online sales.
A membership site allows the site owner to receive residual income . . . and who doesn’t like the idea of that??
I have to say (about Jim Edwards) that I found him to be very genuine, funny, serious, knowledgeable, generous, and an all-around good guy.

Why did I join the Trump Network, you may wonder. There’s a lot of noise being made about the launch of this new “next multi-million dollar company”.
But the Internet chatter is NOT why I joined.
I have a very good friend who does financial trading. He tells me people act and re-act to risks for two valid reasons:
1. Fear 2. Greed
The first reason is fear of losing an investment, being left out entirely, or of being left behind. After all, if the frenzy is true, don’t we all want part of the action?

Network marketing is a group of people who believe in a particular product and/or service; and who want to help sell it or show it to other people so that those people can also enjoy it or benefit from it.
Network marketing has financial benefits because the company/manufacturer of the service or product pays a residual to the person who is helping promote it.
Network marketing affords the opportunity to make a lot of new friends and to make a lot of money if a person works the business steadily.

I was into multi-level marketing in the 1970’s with a well-established and successful company at that time. But, today’s multi-level marketing businesses have changed tremendously since the advent of the Internet.
With Social Media, who needs to have a “networking” party? The whole wide world is accepting the fact that everyone wants to earn additional income – and can DO so, through Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn, etc.
We gather so many friends and aquaintances through the Internet that income opportunities are endless for us and others. It’s all about Networking. Personally, I’m better one-on-one, but I have a friend whose natural gift is networking people-to-people, face-to-face, based on interests and common goals.

I’m considered a Baby Boomer. I’m one of 79,000,000 currently within a certain age range. What’s the biggest concern to our group of Baby Boomer people?
In talking with friends and family members, it seems the biggest concern is continuing to earn money and to maintain our health. Of course, we want to keep our energy levels up. We want to look younger, eliminate the age-lines, and be happy.
I met someone the other day who talked to me about a program that I consequently looked into. It seems this could possibly be a program designed for the Baby Boom generation, even though I don’t think it’s mentioned as such.

I used to wonder what marketing guru was telling the truth. Which information marketing expert was the ‘real thing’ and which ones were scam artists?
Because the Internet has become so vast, so quickly, it comes to conclusion that true internet marketers of quality are forming their information packets, articles, and seminars from their own personal experience.
Experience is the best teacher. Therefore, which teacher has the most experience and which ones have the best teaching abilities?
The longer a company is in business and the more customers that business has, the more likely we will come to trust that business – whether it be a retail firm or a service oriented establishment.

Affiliate Internet Marketing is Easier Done Than Said. Or is it the other way around?
I remember when Amazon.com was born a number of years ago to sell books online. My local radio and television stations ran ads to gain traffic to the Amazon.com website. Then the people at Amazon offered an affiliate program to get other people to promote their website. This ingenious effort paid off in volumes.
Other web companies such as EBay followed suite and the rest of the story of affiliate marketing is history.
Now, I have to tell you – I found a WONDERFUL program that will automate all your Twitter tweets while you sleep, work, or play.
In my humble opinion, this is better than sliced bread (LOL) because it adds to my income and sliced bread only adds calories to my diet (expecially when I load it with butter!)
I read an interesting Internet Marketing article that states a serious marketeer should write approximately 15 tweets per day. Twitter allows 50 tweets per day.

Years ago (in my youthful ignorance) I was surprised to learn a whole underground city exists for the engineering, mechanics, machinery and all the equipment needed that makes it possible for Disneyland and DisneyWorld to entertain you. The size of the Disney tourist attraction complex has an equal size or larger ‘invisible’ area for the business or ‘busyness’ of making the whole operation work flawlessly.
What is visible to the tourists is nothing compared to the invisible operation that goes into making the Disney ‘wonderland’ what it IS.
