I used to wonder what marketing guru was telling the truth. Which information marketing expert was the ‘real thing’ and which ones were scam artists?
Because the Internet has become so vast, so quickly, it comes to conclusion that true internet marketers of quality are forming their information packets, articles, and seminars from their own personal experience.
Experience is the best teacher. Therefore, which teacher has the most experience and which ones have the best teaching abilities?
The longer a company is in business and the more customers that business has, the more likely we will come to trust that business – whether it be a retail firm or a service oriented establishment.
However, experience also has a price. The expert has paid it in time and sweat. The novice will pay it in money.
Marketing has always been known as taking a product or service and finding clients and customers through advertising and brand creation. Creative marketing often involves contests whether it be counting the jelly beans in a jar or writing an expose on why you like a particular product/brand in order to win a prize.
Internet marketing is no different. It’s all about reaching the customer/client through search engines via their Inernet browsers. Turning a “browser” into a buying customer is what it’s about.
We can learn from the experts who have gone before us and are now in a position to teach us how they became successful. Some specilize in writing copy; some in creating a product; still others will teach you how to draw Internet traffic (buyers) to your site. You need all of the above.
After all, the Internet is vast (literally world-wide) and we all want to use it to make money – to make a living. No doubt the world-wide-web has opened its doors to world-wide marketing endeavors. But education has a price.
When contemplating which Internet marketing course to purchase and which money-making entreprenuer to follow, do one of three things:
1. Research their backgrounds. How long have they been doing any kind of marketing? When did they start? How did they start? If they have no information on their background, reconsider whether or not you want to buy from them .
2. Research their strategies. Are they performing ethical activities in sending out e-mails? Are they using quality tools of the trade such as A-Weber? Do they really share their experience or do they just give you tidbits from which to dream? Are they up-front regarding costs, payment plans, results?
3. Do they have references that can be checked out? It’s easy to name names, but can you actually call or write some of the names listed in their line of clients?
4. Do they have a support system? Can you reach your ‘mentor’ when you have questions or issues to solve regarding their program. Is there a person you can talk to for guiding you to success with their training system?
If you have satisfactory answers to your questions and they make you comfortable, then take the plunge and learn how to make money on the Internet. Hundreds of thousands of people are doing it daily.
There are many niches from which to choose. Yours is awaiting your claim.
