Mr President Obama:

After hearing you state you’re going to redistribute billions of dollars paid back from the big banks and give to the little banks to stimulate small business, you may want to reconsider by giving that money elsewhere.

A few months ago I received an email with the absolutely best solution to fixing the economy. Get Congress to vote on THIS bill and the economy will be fixed in no time, not to mention the lives that would be changed for the better. You may have read about this solution elsewhere, but since it has not been implemented, I want to re-introduce it to you.

There are approximately 40 million people over the age of 50 currently in the work force. Pay each of them $1 million dollars severance for early retirement with the following requirements:

1. They MUST retire. Forty million job openings! Unemployed is fixed.

2. They MUST buy a new American car. Forty million cars ordered! Auto industry fixed.

3. They MUST either buy a house or pay off their mortgage. Housing crisis fixed!!

It doesn’t get any easier than the above. And, if more money is needed, for pete’s sake, get the members of Congress to pay their taxes and have the members of Congress retire on Social Security and Medicare like the rest of us.

If you can get this bill passed, you will no doubt be the most popular US president in recent history!
